Since opening our doors in August 2012 we have had an unprecedented start to what I can safely say has been an amazing year for ‘The Old Dairy’. The comments from our guests have been heart warming and gracious echoing each other in their love for ‘The Old Dairy’.
It is wonderful to be able to provide such a luxurious holiday where couples can spend time with each other, rarely achieved in our chaos of work and busy lifestyles. The welcome basket filled with my home cooked scones and jam for a scrumptious Dorset cream tea is something that I will continue to make throughout the coming year as it appears to be a welcome treat enjoyed by all.
Our goal has always been to provide warmth, deeply comfortable and welcoming surroundings for all our guests. I believe we have achieved this from the 100% positive responses we have received with guests often booking their second holiday with us for 2013! Enquiries are coming as far away as Australia for bookings in the summer, an incredible feat considering the many holiday homes around the globe! I have been taking lots of bookings since the New Year and am filling up fast! Have a look at the availability calendar and take advantage of the weeks that are still available.
Already my sweet peas have overwintered well, ready for Spring and Summer pickings for filling vases in ‘The Old Dairy’. More chickens will be joining my other five in the paddock as the demand for freshly laid eggs is high! My bees are now deep in a winter cluster due to the icy cold weather we are having, but hopefully we will have a wonderful Spring and Summer for them to bring in the Honey Harvest for 2013!!
