The Old Dairy
The sun it rose and warmed us; what a sight!
Its rays the fields they painted with a golden light!
The Roe deer browsing the hedgerow warming their flanks
almost as though they were giving thanks.
We sat and viewed such a glorious scene
from the lounge of one of the nicest places we have ever been.
The Old Dairy is such a peaceful, restful place
And Jane the host does welcome with such warmth and grace.
Our heartfelt thanks for such a lens from which to view
such a peaceful world as we reclined and enjoyed a brew!
