It has been a wonderful year at The Old Dairy with many new guests and returning guests on second, third and fourth visits. Thank you for all of your lovely comments regarding your holidays and also for caring so much for The Old Dairy whilst you are here. It is a pleasure to welcome every guest to The Old Dairy and provide each of you with the environment to relax and unwind, enjoying the many wonderful places Dorset has to offer. I am also happy to say that the weekly baking of Victoria sponge cake and scones, using the fresh free range eggs from the hens, as well as the making of home-made jam for the welcome hamper is a firm favourite for all guests and will continue for you all.
I am hoping the honey harvest from my bees will increase for next year and would very much like to supply local honey from the adjacent fields for guests to enjoy during their stay or maybe to take home as presents for friends and family. Fingers crossed for a lovely warm Spring and Summer season for the bees to forage on the local flowers and fruit trees.
Bookings are now being made for 2016 with many guests returning for another visit and I look forward to welcoming you back as valued guests and friends of The Old Dairy.
