Bee Hives at The Old DairyThe Old Dairy has been recently converted and has only been available to let since August 2012. We have enjoyed an incredible first few months with tremendous reviews.
Despite a difficult year as a beekeeper, the hives have still managed to provide a decent yield of honey. This season the bees have favoured foraging on local wild flowers, blackberry and heathland heather.
We are enjoying the last of the summer months and anticipate the forthcoming seasonal changes with increased sightings of deer, barn owls, badgers and foxes.
